Just got a text message from Erik a few minutes ago reporting that all is well and that they have weathered the storm. The crew would like us to join them in a toast as they have successfully reached the halfway point at: 47.36N & 30.00 W. That really is cause for celebration!

Hartelijk gefeliciteerd dat jullie gezond van lijf en leden halverwege zijn aangeland!!!!! Natuurlijk nemen wij er één op jullie gezondheid en prestatie. Spannnend hoor, iets minder mag best wel. Maar..........het avontuur van je leven is al half achter de rug. Jammer (?!), maar je kan het in geuren en kleuren en uiteraard erg overdrijvend vertellen op verjaardag en bruiloften!!!!!!!
